Asda and Chase Side update

The work that is causing reduced parking and orange barriers around the Asda delivery entrance is to allow for a turntable to be installed so that delivery lorries can turn more easily.

Asda Southgate – what’s going on?

As a commuter I walk to the tube station at Southgate every day and often have to walk in the road as Asda’s delivery lorries block the way. This last week or so has been even worse as orange barriers are up on both sides of the road and articulated lorries have to reverse into the delivery area, holding up traffic and pedestrians alike.
